“Growing up, my family, on rare occasions, went out to eat. I would order something that my Mum would make for tea at home. But I always left feeling disappointed. I always came to the same conclusion; I would tell the waitress at the age of eight or nine years old, “My Mum makes this better,” with a cheeky grin as my Mum gasped in fear of the waitress’ reaction!
